Journal of Decision Support Systems and Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Vol. 1 No. 2 (2027), March 2027, presents five research articles focusing on the development and application of Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). This issue covers a broad range of topics, including novel MCDM methodologies, knowledge-driven normalization and evaluation, robust alternative ranking, adaptive and balanced criteria weighting, entropy-based weighting approaches, hybrid MCDM methods, supplier selection, aggregation-based MCDM benchmarking, ranking consistency and stability, sensitivity and robustness analysis, and practical applications of multi-criteria decision making. The issue features contributions from 19 authors affiliated with 11 institutions across 4 countries—Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and Denmark—highlighting cross-institutional and international collaboration. Through diverse methodological approaches and real-world decision-making contexts, this issue contributes to the advancement of objective, systematic, measurable, and effective approaches for addressing complex multi-criteria decision-making problems.
