Journal of Decision Support Systems and Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Vol. 1 No. 3 (2027), July 2027, presents five research articles focusing on the development, modification, and comparative evaluation of methods for Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and objective criteria weighting. The articles cover a range of topics, including heterogeneity-aware criteria weighting, objective weighting methods, logarithmic normalization and dispersion modification, comparative evaluation of ratio-based MCDM methods, ranking stability analysis, and distance-based normalization for alternative ranking. Collectively, the studies contribute methodological developments and empirical evaluations aimed at improving the sensitivity, reliability, and stability of criteria weighting and alternative ranking in MCDM applications. The issue features contributions from 22 authors affiliated with 16 institutions across 3 countries—Indonesia, Australia, and Italy—highlighting cross-institutional and international collaboration.
