Minimum of 35 References and 18 Pages Required
Starting from Volume 1, Issue 2, all submitted manuscripts must meet the following minimum requirements: 35 references and 18 pages in total, including the reference list. Authors are encouraged to use relevant, recent, and high-quality scholarly sources that directly support the research background, methodology, analysis, and discussion.
Manuscript Requirements
• Minimum References: 35 references
• Minimum Length: 18 pages, including references
• Reference Page Limit: References must not exceed 20% of the total manuscript pages
Reference Page Limit
The reference section must not exceed 20% of the total manuscript pages. The resulting number of reference pages is rounded to the nearest whole page: values greater than 0.5 are rounded up, while values of 0.5 or below are rounded down.
Example 1: A manuscript has 18 total pages.
Maximum reference pages = 18 × 20% = 3.6 pages → rounded up to 4 pages.
Result: The reference section may occupy a maximum of 4 pages.
Example 2: A manuscript has 20 total pages.
Maximum reference pages = 20 × 20% = 4.0 pages → remains 4 pages.
Result: The reference section may occupy a maximum of 4 pages.
Example 3: A manuscript has 25 total pages.
Maximum reference pages = 25 × 20% = 5.0 pages → remains 5 pages.
Result: The reference section may occupy a maximum of 5 pages.
Important: Manuscripts that do not meet the minimum requirements of 35 references and 18 pages, including references, may be returned to the authors for revision before entering the review process. The reference section must also not exceed 20% of the total manuscript pages. Authors should ensure that all references are relevant, properly cited in the manuscript, and consistently formatted according to the journal's reference style.

DOI Links Required for All References
Starting from Volume 1, Issue 2, all references to journal articles that have an assigned DOI must include the DOI in the reference list. The DOI must also be provided as a clickable link that directs readers to the official DOI landing page of the referenced article.

Important: The DOI identifier must remain visible in the reference. Authors should ensure that the DOI link is active and resolves to the correct article.

Volume 1, Issue 1 (2026): November 2026

The first issue of Journal of Decision Support Systems and Multi-Criteria Decision Making , Volume 1, Issue 1:  November (2026), is scheduled for publication in November 2026. Articles assigned to this issue are made available through the journal's Online First publication process beginning 23 August 2026, allowing readers to access published articles before the formal issue publication date.
